anonymoose Posted January 28, 2007 at 02:16 AM Report Share Posted January 28, 2007 at 02:16 AM Slightly off topic, but how does one register to take the HSK? I am working in Shanghai at the moment, and would like to take the intermediate HSK just to try and guage my own Chinese level. I am not attending any Chinese classes, so don't have a school/university or anything. Where do you guys take the HSK, how do you register, how long in advance do you have to register, and how much does it cost?
gougou Posted January 28, 2007 at 04:48 AM Report Share Posted January 28, 2007 at 04:48 AM how does one register to take the HSK?You can look up test location, dates and costs on the HSK website. You can also register online. However, they don't seem to have released 2007 test dates yet.
anonymoose Posted January 28, 2007 at 07:36 AM Author Report Share Posted January 28, 2007 at 07:36 AM Thanks for the info. It's nice to see the site actually working for once. However, I couldn't find any info on cost. Any ideas? (Approximately?)

anonymoose Posted January 28, 2007 at 10:24 AM Author Report Share Posted January 28, 2007 at 10:24 AM OK, thanks for the info. If I am available at the time, I will try and take the April test. I guess I had better start preparing. I've never really done any formal chinese study before.

roddy Posted February 14, 2007 at 02:58 AM Report Share Posted February 14, 2007 at 02:58 AM They have dates, they just hid them. The HSK office is one of a select number of organizations I feel deserve recognition for their work in carrying traditional, Communist-era, standards of customer service and efficiency forwards into the new millennium.
