Far, far from China. This program is designed to make the most effective use of class room activities and web resources. The class time will be used to practice communication in mandarin. Learners will participate in activities that help them with speaking and listening. All of the class materials are on the web site so you are free preview and review at any time. In particular we are using Chinesepod podcasts, which can be played on the computer or a portable ipod/mp3 player. The purpose of this design is to help you make the best use of your time. Learning something new takes time and the design of this program provides a great deal of flexibility in terms of finding time to study.
