I'm american born chinese, and grew up speaking mandarin at home I hope to someday work in china, so I want to take language classes in bei jing that will focus more on reading/writing! I've read from a previous thread of someone with the same problems, but the responses suggested her to learn on her own. But I'm not really disciplined and I've never studied abroad so I'm really hoping to get the chance to do that in September. I'm hoping to take classes that will assign a lot of homework, and memorize a lot of vocabulary. Can someone recommend a school or program that will fit an ABC who wants to focus on reading, writing, and building up her vocabulary? Thanks!
