Changing from work visa to study visa, how can I bridge the gap between the two?

Work visa (am currently on for four months till end june)

Study visa (need to get from Sept - January) to study at BLCU

I hope to travel between July - August

Will I

1. have to change work --> tourist --> student visa

or

2. can I change from

work --> student visa

and is there a bridging visa when you are waiting to start studying.

(i doubt it)

Is it easy to change from a work visa to a tourist visa.

Do I HAVE to go to Hong Kong?

I know that it is easy to change from a tourist to a student visa because I have known pple who have done that.

My work visa ends on the last day of the month. My official last day at work is 2 days before that.
