中文新手 Posted April 11, 2007 at 03:41 AM Report Share Posted April 11, 2007 at 03:41 AM Hello. I've attached a copy of 4 Chinese handwritten characters that I'm not able to read. I do OK with standard font style 汉字 but handwritten characters still throw me for a loop. I think the first character is 丁 but I wouldn't take that to the bank. Thanks for your help. againstwind Posted April 11, 2007 at 04:37 AM Report Share Posted April 11, 2007 at 04:37 AM It should be 丁亥年書. Simple form is 丁亥年书, which means 'written in the lunar calendar Year Dinghai'. BTW, this year, 2007, is just 丁亥年.
