I'm also about to call my ISP (which, incidentally, is the third link above) to find out why its not working, when a direct competitor's (Xtra) website is. I'll assume that if they can be accessed in Beijing, they can probably be accessed in Qingdao. I'll check and see if there are other reasons for the claim of "Not Accessable". Thanks.
