hdejarne Posted July 5, 2007 at 12:04 PM Report Share Posted July 5, 2007 at 12:04 PM Does anyone know where you can pick up an English copy of Harry Potter book 7 in Beijing? Thanks
roddy Posted July 5, 2007 at 12:18 PM Report Share Posted July 5, 2007 at 12:18 PM The two bookstores on Wangfujing will have them, probably Xidan Book City as well and you can even preorder from online retailers.I'd phone ahead for availability though. yonitabonita Posted July 7, 2007 at 11:51 AM Report Share Posted July 7, 2007 at 11:51 AM I went to the Xidan Bookstore today and they said they'd have stock by the 21st of this month. Can't wait to find out who dies! y

hdejarne Posted July 18, 2007 at 02:02 AM Author Report Share Posted July 18, 2007 at 02:02 AM Does anyone know where Harry Potter 7 can be bought in Harbin?
roddy Posted July 18, 2007 at 03:01 PM Report Share Posted July 18, 2007 at 03:01 PM Beijing Harry Potter fans might want to consider the Bookworm. No idea on Harbin I'm afraid, an online order might be your best bet. Roddy

kdavid Posted July 20, 2007 at 12:19 AM Report Share Posted July 20, 2007 at 12:19 AM @ hdejarne To my knowledge there is nowhere in Harbin to buy Harry Potter. In fact, I've yet to find a good English-title bookstore anywhere in the city. However, a colleague of mine has just purchased a copy from amazon and having it sent over (a bit expensive, but she's a die hard fan). Socks Posted July 20, 2007 at 04:00 PM Report Share Posted July 20, 2007 at 04:00 PM Joyo.com has the Harry Potter books for sale. I assume since they are China's Amazon, it would be a real copy of the book, but I can't guarantee it... If you are in Beijing, you can get it delivered to you pretty quickly (for the person in Harbin, Joyo is notoriously slow on delivering goods quickly, and it takes them days to acknowledge that you even wired money to them)... Here's a link... I hope it helps... (http://www.amazon.cn/detail/product.asp?prodid=enbk601285&ref=SR_T3&uid=168-7737660-9297064)
imron Posted July 20, 2007 at 07:21 PM Report Share Posted July 20, 2007 at 07:21 PM It's also apparently already been leaked onto the internet.
