Does anyone know anything about the Baller's Chinese-English Dictionary?

Does anyone know anything about "An analytical Chinese-English dictionary", China Inland Mission by Baller, F. W. (Frederick William), 1852-1922 (First Published 1900)?

If so, how many Hanzi character 汉字 entries are listed in the book?

I know for a fact that the book would use an early version of the Wade-Giles Romanisation System extensively. All characters 汉字 printed in the book would obviously be Traditional Characters 繁體.

By the way, is this forum in anyway associated with <> ?

Another question, but totally off the topíc of course, does anyone know about Special Hanja 한 자 [漢字] created in Korea and exclusively used in Korean, these are called "Gukja" 국 자 [國字], aren't they? Can a Korean language expert tell me more about these and their usage, as well as historically of course. Also, what is meant in the written and literary Korean Language by a Hanja character having a meaning of "Gugyeol"?

According to the preface:

According to Giles 6,000 characters are sufficient to furnish a fount for a Chinese newspaper, and this number, says the same authority, is " an ample stock-in-trade for any scholar." With a view to ascertain which 6,000 characters were likely to be the most useful, an analysis was made of the Four Books and Commentary, the Sacred Edict, the Three Character Classic and Commentary, the Book of Rewards and Punishments, the Old and New Testaments, Old Testament History, the Pilgrim's Progress, and Martin's Evidences of Christianity. The analysis of these volumes shewed that they contained about 5,500 separate characters. These were supplemented by nearly 600 more from various sources, bringing the total to 6,089, or if different forms of the same character be included to 7,264.
