mr.stinky Posted September 22, 2007 at 05:40 PM Report Share Posted September 22, 2007 at 05:40 PM i've got several toll-free access numbers to call the u.s., but when using my china mobile cellphone, the disembodied voice tells me the number does not exist. i know the numbers work, having used them from payphones. there are, strangely, no public phones anywhere near my apartment. (plenty of mom & pop shops with phones, but not open when i need to call) a quick internet check tells me china mobile cellphones will not make toll-free calls. anyone know of a way to get around this? is there a special prefix to dial to allow toll-free calls?
