Help with a Chinese name please

Actually, the character you choose is not very commonly used in Chinese names. It's a rarely used character that for many Chinese, including me, it's totally a stranger.

So, in this case, it'd be better to translate it into "安顿". It would be more natural.

安暾(an1tun1) is a strange name.It has a beautiful meaning,but sounds little strange.

And 暾 is not a commonly used character.

彤 is often uesd to describe the color of first sun rays in the morning.

And 腾 means running quickly or flying-off.

I think they are all good choices.

Anton is usually translated into 安东.Tony is usually translated into 托尼. There is no

need to make the characters have selfsame pronunciation from the english words.

Anyway 安暾 is also can be used if you like.:)
