Let's try again- Business Chinese?

Sorry to bring this up again, but I only got two responses last time and one was from myself!

What resources are you guys using for learning business Chinese? There are too many books out there for words. I have a feeling most of them are crappy and there are a few good ones. Last time someone posted a good suggestion. Anyone else have any ideas?

Indeed I think the so-called "business Chinese language" and daily Chinese language are basically the same in many aspects. It's quite different from Japanese.

I think the book that you should go and find, is about how Chinese do their business.

yan1 jiu3 yan1 jiu3

yan2 jiu4 yan1 jiu3

煙酒 煙酒

研究 研究

cigarettes (foreign brands) and wine (whisky, or baijiu~)

then you can yanjiu (discuss) your business with Chinese.

Haha, and the Northerners force Shanghainese (and probably Hongkonger) to drink to the chagrin of us. Once I've met a man in Zhejiang, he told me SHanghainese are 小氣鬼 because they drank too little. :wink:
