I'm researching about my ancestors and I found a picture of my great-grandfather with chinese writing in it. I have no knowledge of Chinese and I have no idea how to look for chinese characters in an online translator. Could you please help me? Could you please give any ideas how can I translate it? I've taken pictures of the picture, that's all I was allowed to do. I have published them in a blog, so in that way the characters can be clear. Thanks in advance for your help and ideas!!! I think the person's name is 劉楨三 (Liu Zhensan). The second picture - 勤儉 (the virtues "diligence" and "frugality") The third picture - 梁明生公遺像 (picture of the late Mr Liang Mingsheng) The 4th picture - died at half past eight in the morning on the 18th day of the ninth month of the 28th year of the Republic of China (30th October 1939) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
