肾上腺素 = Adrenaline? - Comfirmation please!

If someone feels secure enough to ensure me 肾上腺素 really means adrenaline, please let me know!

There may be differnet variations of adrenaline as far as I know. It's is not the "medical word" I'm looking for, its the word that would be followed by "kick" in english, like: "adrenaline kick", when it comes to experiencing..
