(It doesn't specify how long you should press it, but if it doesn't come back to life after about 4 hours, you might look at different solutions.) I'll be honest with you though i dont have a clue where the reset buuton is. 1 last thing i noticed this in the manual could this help. Its number 13 i'm talking about. Yours should be a different kind of mute though. Isn't there a picture of the device somewhere with an explanation of all the buttons and whatnot? "reset button" is usaully located in rear (at least not together the operational buttons) and actually not a real button but a small hole. You may need a pencil or ballpen to press it.
