Okey. Sorry for this "hijack". But as the name of the thread seems fitting and my login seems bugged so that everytime I enter "Chinese Tattos, Chinese Names..." I get logged out but as soon as I enter a thread or other forum I am logged in again I need to use an excisting thread or wrong forum. As this thread seems done I hoped no one would minde. Im truly sorry if this is the wrong way around my problem.

Anyway, I'm saw an interesting lamp for sale a few days ago and it doned 2 chinese signs, I don't want to buy anything without knowing it's "meaning" so I took pictures of the signs and was hoping you guys could help me.

One of the signs looked familiar to the word "male" or "man" but the other did not resemble "female" or "woman" so I dismissed that thought, help appreciated

Thanks

Regards

In the first pic, It is 果 main meaning of which is "fruit", and

in the second pic, It is 寿 meaning long life, the second should be read first, to make up

寿果 = fruit for long life. It is considered absolutely good word in Chinese.

So I guess the lamp may shape like a peach. Is it so?
