roddy Posted June 6, 2004 at 03:37 AM Report Share Posted June 6, 2004 at 03:37 AM http://www.powersugoi.net/tingdong/chinese.php Haven't had much of a look, but seems good. No files to download, but Baidu.com's mp3 search will fix that. Roddy
林彪 Posted June 6, 2004 at 03:55 AM Report Share Posted June 6, 2004 at 03:55 AM Nice site. The only thing that would make it better is if they would put tones on the pinyin.
pazu Posted June 6, 2004 at 08:53 AM Report Share Posted June 6, 2004 at 08:53 AM Quite a good site with a neat layout. Thanks Roddy. And Mr Lin, you can add tones by yourself quite easily (using MS Word, or NJSTAR Chinese Word Processor).
mermaid_sea5 Posted June 21, 2004 at 07:25 AM Report Share Posted June 21, 2004 at 07:25 AM .. can't open it.. but do you really think " pinyiin would possiblly express out the meaning of Chinese character in either a lyric or a poem?!! Haoqide Posted June 23, 2004 at 04:09 PM Report Share Posted June 23, 2004 at 04:09 PM I don't see why not. I mean, the characters stand for words or ideas, and the pinyin is just a phonetic representation of those words or ideas...unless there's something I don't know about the way characters are used in poems or songs, I think it'll convey the meaning just fine. words are words, no matter how they're written; their meaning remains. Lu Posted July 1, 2004 at 08:32 AM Report Share Posted July 1, 2004 at 08:32 AM Lin: in songs, tones don't really matter, so it's not really a problem that they aren't put on here.
