I wonder if any are in same position as l, l just started to learn cantonese, try to speak with my gf as much as possible, l will move to hk l feel like the black sheep now, dont understand her friends or family. I have studied mandarin for 3 month only so can say its like zero hehe. Any other out there that started to learn cantonese with not knowing any other chinese language, Read much about how hard many say it is.
