I will be studying at BNU on a programme supported by CSC Scholarship. Therefore have F visa. My wife will travel with me and has an L tourist visa. Can someone tell me, can she work, e.g. teach English while I am studying for a month just before the Olympics? I realise people of different backgrounds and experiences may provide different answers to this, what we need is a factual answer, please. I'm surprised you got an F-visa (i.e. I'm surprised BNU bothered with the paperwork) instead of a tourist one. Is your wife allowed to work? The English Depart (building 4, room 411/412) closes July 5th, but there might be some people around that could help her out.
