Scoobyqueen Posted October 30, 2008 at 11:37 AM Report Share Posted October 30, 2008 at 11:37 AM I am going to use this expression in a presentation: 欣欣向荣 I want to make sure it conveys that the subject -in this case an industrial sector - is booming in the sense of thriving eg prices going up, consumer demand is high. It should not mean that the sector is new, fashionable and booming and indicate that this could be a fad and short-lived. Can anyone comment? optimotional Posted November 6, 2008 at 11:13 AM Report Share Posted November 6, 2008 at 11:13 AM U got the right meaning ..queen. this term is very formal usually used in the news to describe the industrial sector or people's life to show the bright future. eg. 我们国家的工业一派生机、欣欣向荣。
