Here are the highlights: The dad of the family returns from somewhere He has a son about 6 years old, the dad keeps forcing the son to paint in the courdyard, and don't wont him playing with the other boys. At some point the mom and dad gets divorced, only so the mother can get a new appartment. The sons grows up to be a painter and holds an exibition, but is still mad at his dad for forcing him to paint At the end the dad leaves(he lives alone in the courtyard house) without saying goodbye, but he leaves a tape, on the tape he tells the son that he always did what he thought was best for him.
