Explanations should use a simple set of common hanzi. I used the search, but only only electronic versions are discussed, I need something on paper. Would be plus if it is available in Europe, maybe by Amazon. When I was learning English I used "Oxford advanced learners dictionary" and I really like the quality and size of that book. The link above is to Amazon's Chinese site. I'm not sure if they deliver overseas, if not, you might try contacting the folks at Study Chinese Culture and see if they can get it for you. ISBN 7-100-02197-9/H x 609 The other one is an HSK book: Chinese Proficiency Test Vocabulary Guideline 汉语 8000词词典 A Dictionary of Chinese Usage: 8000 Words 北京语言大学 ISBN 7-5619-0794-x Hope it helps!
