roddy Posted January 31, 2009 at 03:14 PM Report Share Posted January 31, 2009 at 03:14 PM Google's gone mad and is giving malware warnings for almost ALL sites - I know a lot of people reach the forums by Googling specific phrases that they know will bring up a forums page, but you don't need to fear, our pages are safe and Google is wrong. This is a pretty major error, hope they get it fixed quickly.
gougou Posted January 31, 2009 at 03:19 PM Report Share Posted January 31, 2009 at 03:19 PM I don't get that here. Probably I caught some malware that removes those warnings.

YuehanHao Posted February 2, 2009 at 12:14 AM Report Share Posted February 2, 2009 at 12:14 AM Tangentially related to this, I installed two extensions in Firefox with the goal of more secure web browsing, WOT (Web of Trust) and Finjan. I found it interesting that they both give the chinese-forums site a semi-dubious rating. The WOT rating (http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/chinese-forums.com) seems to be based on few inputs, but it gives a poor rating on child safety, and although "trustworthiness" was good, two of the other ratings were pretty bad also. The Finjan extension in Firefox says it detects potentially malicious behavior. I think one can see through this link (http://www.finjan.com/Content.aspx?id=1190&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.chinese-forums.com&state=unsafe&category=Blogs%20and%20Forums%2C%20Search%20Engines&reason=Potentially%20malicious%20behavior%20was%20detected%20on%20this%20page%3A%20-Code%20Obfuscation%20(Home-Encoding)%20&more=). Just pointing that out for whatever it's worth. 约翰好

gato Posted February 4, 2009 at 08:49 AM Report Share Posted February 4, 2009 at 08:49 AM The WOT rating (http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/chinese-forums.com) seems to be based on few inputs, but it gives a poor rating on child safety, That makes sense. Chinese-forums can get pretty racy at times.
