Private or Public bathroom?

HLK

Recommended Posts

Unis offer either rooms with private bathroom or public bathrooms, with public ones obviously at cheaper rates.

Any experiences or opinions on public bathrooms? Are public bathrooms reasonably clean? Is it a communal shower or cubicles separated by walls?

Toilets sitting or squatting type? Do toilets have doors? (last time I went to use the public toilets at Bei Jing train station while on holidays, there were no doors to toilets so you can practically see what the user was doing and you could see all the faecal bits sticking to the sides of squat pans). And ohhh, the smell!

So is it worth going for accomodation with public bathrooms?

Cheers

Public bathrooms are nasty!! :nono If you can get a private one that would be the best thing!!! Then you can pretty much keep up with the way its kept!!! Some people go into these bathrooms and don't use any ethics when going, And the person after them has to suffer!!! So get a private one if you know whats good for you!!!:roll:
