If China opens up....

Haoqide

If China became a democracy, what would happen to the US Chinese population?

  1. 1. If China became a democracy, what would happen to the US Chinese population?

    • It would greatly decrease as people went back to China
      1
    • It would increase as more people would feel free to come to America
      1
    • It would remain the same because a good bit of both would happen

If China (I should probably say WHEN China) eventually opens up and becomes a democratic society, what do you guys think will happen to the overseas populations of Chinese people, like those in America?

Do you think those populations will drastically decrease as a result of the freedoms in China making Chinese here in the US go back? Or do you think that because of the freedom, many Chinese would move to the US because they've been wanting to anyway? Or do you think that there will be a good mix of both happening, and the Chinese population will remain largely unchanged?

Discuss amongst yourselves. I'm interested as to what your opinions will be!
