I'll be learning mandarin for the next year in Chengdu and I'd like to know if there's a way to get a part-time job beside english teaching. I won't have a working permit so is it possible to have a job that you get paid "under the table" ? Something that doesn't really need you to know the language ? Thanks for your help! Bye! However, the payments are very low, about 2 dollars a day. I am not sure local people are brave enough to offer these kinds of jobs to foreigners, especially the Caucasians who have different look.
