Peking University last Fall; Fudan University this Fall. My rough goals for the coming school year include: 1. Get more serious about learning Mandarin. 2. Explore the amazing history of Shanghai, including its foreign concessions. 3. Read the manual and finally learn to take decent pictures with my digital SLR camera. 4. Actually wear all of the one-size-smaller clothing I had optimistically brought with me to Beijing, didn't manage to wear, and wound up mailing to Shanghai to await my arrival in a couple of weeks.
