Laptops in Harbin

In terms of new ones, from my own looking at brands like HP and Dell, China is one of the more expensive places to purchase laptops. Desktops are relatively cheap though. For laptops, the US tends to be the cheapest.

I will back this one up. I recently bought an Acer Aspire One D250 for about $350 USD. It's about $50 more expensive than in the US. Mine as brand new and I had to bargain with the guy for quite a bit. My advice: Bring a Chinese friend with you when you go to buy things. Because you are a foreigner, they will charge you more because they think you are rich and they know that Chinese know the real prices.
