Guest soosan Posted August 22, 2009 at 07:53 AM Report Share Posted August 22, 2009 at 07:53 AM Hi everyone. In September I will be in Harbin and I would like to buy some new laptops or second hand laptops. But in internet can`t find information on computer stores and prices in Harbin. Somebody can help me? muyongshi Posted August 22, 2009 at 04:57 PM Report Share Posted August 22, 2009 at 04:57 PM In terms of new ones, from my own looking at brands like HP and Dell, China is one of the more expensive places to purchase laptops. Desktops are relatively cheap though. For laptops, the US tends to be the cheapest.
HangingClowns Posted September 24, 2009 at 10:13 AM Report Share Posted September 24, 2009 at 10:13 AM I will back this one up. I recently bought an Acer Aspire One D250 for about $350 USD. It's about $50 more expensive than in the US. Mine as brand new and I had to bargain with the guy for quite a bit. My advice: Bring a Chinese friend with you when you go to buy things. Because you are a foreigner, they will charge you more because they think you are rich and they know that Chinese know the real prices.
