Clipping, Clipped（消峰）電子學簡易註解指的是聲音訊號（一般為正弦波）在電路設計下對於波形峰值（最大值）設下一個限值。超過此限度以上（或包含）的波形便將其「砍掉」，出來的波形接近方波，比較於原始波形是為失真情況。所以聲音聽起來才會是「破音」。一般對於聲音波形做「砍頭」的動作都會稱之為 Clipping，Clipped PS: Ummm ..... it's all Greek to me .....
