Since Pimsleur seemed heavy on pronunciation but light on listening comprehension, DLI seemed like a good complement. So far I am both happy and impressed with the material. The other day I became aware of the DLI website called GLOSS http://gloss.dliflc.edu/. It provides some real world materials for learning languages. They supposedly incorporate this material or something like it into the actual DLI courses held in Monterey.
