skylee Posted January 21, 2010 at 12:59 PM Report Share Posted January 21, 2010 at 12:59 PM 我剛看了書架一下，英國的真的不多 (Bridget Jones's Diaries, Adrian Mole's Diaries, Maeve Binchy 的書大概不能算作文學吧)。 如果你也（像我一樣愛旅行也）喜歡遊記的話，可以看看Bill Byrson 的書，他是美國人，不過旅居英國多年。 如果不介意看美國作者的書的話，The Kite Runner 也很不錯。如果不介意翻譯的書的話，當然你也可以看看Paulo Coelho 和 米蘭昆德拉的書 （雖然我不是太喜歡 Coelho 的書……）。 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

gato Posted January 21, 2010 at 03:02 PM Report Share Posted January 21, 2010 at 03:02 PM (edited) 我看的报告文学比较多，其实跟散文很像。Peter Hessler写中国, Ken Auletta和Connie Bruck写媒体, Nicholas Lemann写美国政治, George Packer写外交, Paul Goldberger写建筑, Anthony Lane写影评都是业内最好的，都经常给New Yorker投稿。 如果你想看更接近中国文人写的那种散文大概也有，比如美国小说家Walker Percy的一些文章就有点像散文，我也很喜欢。 Other superb writers to try out: VS Naipaul, Jonathan Spence, Bertrand Russell, Ian Buruma.
