Shi Tong Posted June 9, 2010 at 11:39 AM Report Share Posted June 9, 2010 at 11:39 AM 过去 guòqu to go over / to pass by You can also say 过来 guòlái to come over This will help you remember what the first one is- 过来 means "come here", so if you call someone you might ask them what time they want to 过来, and in responce to this, they may reply with what time they will 过去 to you. Hope this helps! You may also come across this- 出发 chūfā (to start out / to set off), so be warned.... this can be put in exactly the same place as 过去, and means you'd better start out early.
