Rumor has it that cellular data can only be activated on the 1st of the month. Which means if I were to buy a SIM card when I arrive, I can't activate data until August 1st. Is that true? Thanks. However, bundled packages that make network usage much cheaper than it normally would (100mb for 20rmb and deals like that) can only be activated on the first of every month.
