I was born in Germany and I am interested in Chinese culture, language and history since I was 12 (I was born in 1964, the year fo the Dragon)... I found this forum by pure chance and it is my intention to come here as often as my work permits me. I posted my introduction here, because: 1) I didn't find a forum for Introcutions. 2) I am a web developer and graduated webmaster, and this is propbably the forum I am most inclined to. My Chinese is limited to some 1500 characters, but I can only pronounce correctly about 100 of them. In fact, when I went to Beijing in 1999, I had to write in order to communicate with people, specially when shopping, visiting parks, or in restaurants... Please forgive my lack of deep knowledge of the language, I would like to become fluent some day in Mandarin Chinese. Finally, I would like to let everyone know that if you need any help in Macromedia Flash MX, or ActionScript (which is my specialty), as well as HTML, ASP, XML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop or others, do not hesitate to ask me, I will gladly help...
