Cannot put in front of them. Just found a mistake of mine. Quoted examples are still correc. But "一點兒" could be put in front of adjustives. Examples: This suit is bigger than I need, we would say: 這件衣服大了一點兒 or 這件衣服有一點兒大 This bag is a bit heavy, we would say: 這袋子沉了一點兒 or 這袋子有一點兒沉 Sure wrong is '請說一點兒慢'. When there is a verb 說 and an adverb 慢 for the verb, the adverb should follow the verb, then 一點兒 must not put in between of the verb & adverb, i.e. it must be after the adverb. You can also use the prepositional form of 给 here to mean the same thing. I only learned this use yesterday, but I think it's correct.
