Scoobyqueen Posted September 26, 2010 at 02:45 PM Report Share Posted September 26, 2010 at 02:45 PM I recently came across a journalist named 李若愚. Can anyone tell me what the meaning is of the last two characters is? I am confused as to what this means when appearing in someone's name. I think I understand the individual meaning. I am fairly certain I noted it down correctly.

small tree Posted October 1, 2010 at 02:09 PM Report Share Posted October 1, 2010 at 02:09 PM In Chinese there is an idiom called"大智若愚" this is an adj uesed to describe such kind of people that they have profound taste of life so that they donot care much how to behave in daily life. many times they may seem very stupid and slow in reaction, but as a matter of fact, they have extremely acute insight and keen observation.
