The original singer is 黃耀明. The song is in Cantonese and has been covered by 張國榮 (Leslie Cheung), 陳奕迅 (Eason Chan), 言承旭 and others. There is also a Mandarin version. It is quite a rare phenomenon that so many people/media in Mainland adore a HKer's Chinese language product The best of 林夕 that I like was the song "Legend" sung by the Raiders in late '80s.
