Hofmann Posted February 28, 2011 at 11:45 AM Report Share Posted February 28, 2011 at 11:45 AM (edited) 小布魯諾 and a bunch of other people edited a small Middle Chinese textbook, available for download at http://xopuluno.anonworld.com/lenven/tkhn.pdf. Edit: not only phonology. Edited February 28, 2011 at 11:53 AM by Hofmann
Daan Posted February 28, 2011 at 01:59 PM Report Share Posted February 28, 2011 at 01:59 PM Thanks for sharing this - it ties in nicely with some of the research I am planning to do the coming few months! I like the way they've come up with dialogues as well.
OneEye Posted October 22, 2011 at 03:21 PM Report Share Posted October 22, 2011 at 03:21 PM Is this still available somewhere? I'd like to have it for later on down the road.
Daan Posted October 22, 2011 at 03:26 PM Report Share Posted October 22, 2011 at 03:26 PM I may still have the PDF lying around somewhere. As the authors initially made it available online, I'm assuming it'd be okay for me to send it to you. If you PM me your e-mail address, I'll make sure it finds its way to you sometime this weekend

New Members zhanglong Posted December 6, 2011 at 11:45 PM New Members Report Share Posted December 6, 2011 at 11:45 PM This is my first post on this forum. It's great to see so many who share my interests! I am in GZ, China now studying Mandarin and Cantonese; I am trying to see how they, and other "dialects" descended from Middle Chinese. Needless to say, the local bookstore has nothing on the topic as far as I can see. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to study Middle Chinese? Hofmann Posted December 7, 2011 at 12:54 PM Author Report Share Posted December 7, 2011 at 12:54 PM Someone asked a similar question before...but I forgot where my reply went. Sleepy. ...Yeah, best I can come up with is Wikipedia. There's probably something better out there, but I haven't looked.
