This is my favourite Chinese Rock song, it's about living your life on the road

and the reprecussions that that may have on relationships.

From the first time you hear these guys you know they are as rock as Chinese music gets. 7 minute tracks haven't received significant American radio play since the 70s ... to say nothing of present day China. These guys are obviously in it for the music. Bravo.

While I agree with your interpretation, 思考题, I didn't see the same need to alter the lyrics as much. The concept of freedom (aside from the title) is implied all throughout ... but in a bleak, ironic tone. Freedom as forgotten pasts and uncertain futures; the only certainty is the vicious cycle of detachment and unfamiliarity.
