Philosophy Translation Question

Recommended Posts

Dear willm73,

If the sentence is translated letter by letter, the sentence should be "What kind of heavens can I come/go to?"

Yet, I agree with Mr. Quest that if you want us to translate the sentence more accuratly, you should give use the contexts.

I just looked at an email that a Chinese Professor sent to me regaurding the quote and got she the same interpretation as I did.

What we got was "What Heaven May Come"

However, the rest of the quote in english is

"is an acceptance of Heaven's will. In other words, whatever Heaven has in store for us we accept"
