I call the dorm and found out all the rooms are books for the summer. Does anyone know if the dorm housing is first come first serve? Bottom line is to start looking on thebeijinger.com Classifieds and couchsurfing.org community for Beijing, or check out the ads once you get to Beijing if you don't have anything yet. You'll need to book yourself into a hostel or hotel for a few days or crash someone's couch (again, couchsurfing might help there) while you decide where to live. Their website here: http://exchange.blcu.edu.cn/en/cn/HK/index.aspx?js1=1&Basic_ClassID=23 says June 30rd is the deadline. Is that site wrong and have I missed my chance?
