cutty Posted December 16, 2004 at 03:30 AM Report Share Posted December 16, 2004 at 03:30 AM Hongzhou is my favorite city in China. It's about 2 hours train from Shanghai, strongly recommended!!! Suzhou should also be nice, 上有天堂,下有苏杭.
marcopolo79 Posted December 16, 2004 at 04:50 AM Report Share Posted December 16, 2004 at 04:50 AM Putuoshan would be nice if you can't make it to another famous mountain. You can depart from Ningbo, which isn't to far from Shanghai, or I believe you can also go directly from Shanghai itself, but I'm not quite sure how that works. As far as I know is that Suzhou(behind SuDa) and Hangzhou(Nanshanroad) 1 long street filled with bars. Shanghai is too expensive but wenzhou i dont know yet but its kinda modern.
