But I heard that they stopped rowing match and enrolling students in rowing last summer. I'm afraid it's a bit late to introduce them to you. Personally I've never seen rowing in Beijing. I've seen rowing boats lying by Houhai, but that's not exactly a canal or even river that you can row some kilometers on. Also the water I've seen in Beijing is very polluted, you really don't want to fall into that. If no one else here knows, you might also try asking at the Beijinger forums, they tend to know a lot about all kinds of activities in Beijing. Succes!
