"Place an ad" and other phrases

Could anyone translate these phrases to Mandarin? They aren't in the

dictionary.

1. "place an ad in the classifieds."

2. "touching story"

3. "His English is rusty."

4. "He lost his job and his girlfriend kicked him out. He's a loser."

5. "third world country"

哦,天哪。

“被女朋友给甩了”AND“被女朋友甩了”没有太大的区别,只是一种说话形式而言。就像英文中用a little bit, 也可以用a little, a bit表示相同的意思。

他是个失败者表示他的命运不怎么好或者他处在人生的低谷,只是一种客观评价;而他是个败类通常指这个人经常做坏事,让人感觉厌恶。

雖然我知道'給甩了,給忘了'的意思,但是講話時,都沒有用到.我只想多了解這個句型,決定應該不應該開始用.

I'm familiar with this kind of "gei3" construction enough to understand it, but not enough that I actually use it.
