After showing for 42 performances in HK in 1997, the Mandarin version finally debuts in Beijing after 7 years. The show will then rotatedly be staged in many Mainland cities. Some of the songs in the show have become classics in Cantopop. The lyrics have been rewritten to fit the Mandarin version. But the admission price varies.
