Shelley Posted October 1, 2011 at 11:15 AM Report Share Posted October 1, 2011 at 11:15 AM I have been trying for sometime to figure out how to input chinese characters in my posts. But I have to admit defeat and ask. I checked old questions in usage and help and couldn't find anything about it. I am sure I will kick myself when i find out how, as it probably is quite simple:) Thanks Shelley
Daan Posted October 1, 2011 at 12:54 PM Report Share Posted October 1, 2011 at 12:54 PM You'll have to set up a Chinese IME on your computer. After you've done that, you'll be able use the Language Bar to toggle between English and Chinese - not just when entering text on the forums, but everywhere in Windows. My personal favourite is Google Pinyin (free download), but it's only in Chinese, so if that's a problem, you could also use the Microsoft Pinyin IME, which is available on most computers in the Control Panel under "Languages and Keyboards".
