Actually no matter what course you do, they require that you take something in electrical power engineering. We even did a Chinese vocab class for such. Accommodation for foreign students got better as they added a new building complete with kitchen and bathroom inside the room. The building that I am at has a kitchen on each floor; bathrooms are inside the room which is very small. Be prepared to know everything about your room mate. Not much room to move around like other universities I've visited.
