This is my first semester of study of Chinese; we have an oral presentation to do this week. The topic is 我的中文课. I have a couple sentences, then... 有的时候老师给我们一个考试。考试以后我常常喝一瓶啤酒。 My questions is on the second sentence... is 考试以后 a valid way of saying "after the test," or should I be using some kind of 了structure? The examples in our book mostly focus on using 以后 after a time expression（ex. 四点以后...). Similarly, I have something like "课以前" to mean "before class." Thanks a lot for your help!
