edelweis Posted January 6, 2012 at 07:26 PM Report Share Posted January 6, 2012 at 07:26 PM Did anyone watch the new year's programme on CCTV? (I did, purely accidentally, on CCTV-F.) Some time around midnight (Chinese time) there was a gold vase dance performed by Hui women. I'd like to know what it is called in Chinese so I can look for similar videos and pictures... EDIT: ah never mind I just found it on the CCTV website (edit again: actually this video is an older one... here is the new one) 回族舞蹈《金色的汤瓶》
Meng Lelan Posted January 7, 2012 at 01:49 AM Report Share Posted January 7, 2012 at 01:49 AM It looks so much like the Thousand Hand Guanyin dance performed by a deaf dance troupe in China.
