jirbau Posted August 31, 2012 at 11:27 AM Report Share Posted August 31, 2012 at 11:27 AM I'm living in an apartment at Cai He Fang Lu West Side near Su Zhou Jie in Beijing. As of now, I'm buying water around 1.5-2 litre bottles; but are there water refilling stations near the area that can deliver it directly to my apartment since it is heavy for me? And how much would that usually cost?
msittig Posted September 1, 2012 at 12:47 AM Report Share Posted September 1, 2012 at 12:47 AM We pay RMB 19 for a big 19-L 筒子 of Nongfu Springs here in Shanghai, delivered. Nongfu Springs has a national number, but I found the local number by watching for the guy who zips around on an electric tricycle-wagon delivering the water. imron Posted September 1, 2012 at 08:48 AM Report Share Posted September 1, 2012 at 08:48 AM There are probably adverts stuck up all over the apartment complex and stairwells of where you live - you just need to be able to read the Chinese. PBolchover Posted September 2, 2012 at 03:00 PM Report Share Posted September 2, 2012 at 03:00 PM Try calling 62627007. We get Nongfu Shanquan delivered from them. I think that they're based near Renmin University, so should be convenient for you. You can buy 10 tickets in advance, and get a discount - I think 200RMB for 10, with an extra one for free (for Nongfu - other brands are cheaper) Unfortunately, no english spoken, so I hope that your chinese is up to it. roddy Posted September 6, 2012 at 09:17 AM Report Share Posted September 6, 2012 at 09:17 AM You don't even need to be able to read Chinese - just walk about till you see a shop with a massive great big pile of water bottles outside.
