I'm in the early process of looking into to going to China and study Chinese. I've been surfin' lots of sites, but having a hard time figuring out what sort of costs to expect. Some schools seem cheap, while others seem exspensive. I have a year off and since I'll be paying everything myself, I'm ofcourse looking for a cheap (but quality) school. Seems like university courses are cheapest. How many students in a class?? How does this sound - 12 months tuition usd 2000 - 2500 ?? place to stay prefer my own room usd 150 pr month. Too much ? If studying at uni, do you have to stay on campus?? Do unis in China usually have a cheap cafeteria?? So a whole year for around usd 8000 incl food/fun???? How much do you spend??
